The installation of Window Films

As well as construction work, JJW Construction Limited sells and installs security films.

Window Films and their types:

Heat-insulating films, sun-protection films, protective films, anti-burglary films, coloured films, auto films, matt films, security films, two-way mirrors, reflective films, mirror films.

The assessment of the citizens' safety and the security of their property is often made based on police or court statistics, more or less objective opinions of the politicians, as well as the representatives of public administration offices in small towns and big cities. In a democratic state the assessment of the citizens' safety depends mostly on themselves.

In order to address these issues, our company offers a wide range of window films certified according to the European norm EN 12600, which serve the purpose of protecting window openings against burglary and theft of property left in flats and houses.

The Seven Wonders of Window Film:
  • Safety/Security,
  • Heat Gain Reduction,
  • Appearance,
  • Glare Reduction,
  • Privacy,
  • Insulation,
  • Fading.
Our company has the following films on offer:

Anti-Burglary Films: they provide excellent protection against attempted burglary into buildings. A very thick layer of glue bonds the glass to film. The window panel may crack when hit with a stone or another object, but the strong layer of a special type of polyester will hold the glass in place, in this manner constituting a barrier which is very difficult to overcome. The films are slow-burning, resistant to scratching and acid-proof. They are installed in shop windows, Banks, factories, workshops, other business premises and private homes.

Safe - Protective Films: they protect glass against splintering into small, sharp and dangerous pieces, preventing injury. They provide protection against any acts of vandalism. They are resistant to explosive pressure and provide protection in the case of an explosion. They are installed in public utility buildings, school buildings, offices, workshops, hospitals, health centres, etc.

Mirror Films: you can see through them without being seen. They produce an excellent decorative effect, provide protection against dazzle. In the summer they reflect the heat outside (up to a reduction of 80%), while in the winter they reflect the heat back into the room (they reduce the heat loss by up to 30%). They allow you to reduce the operating costs of air-conditioning and heating. They are available in a wide range of colours and installed in factories, offices, workshops and warehouses.

Sun-Protection Films: they protect accommodation from excessive heat and exposure to light. They reduce the UV radiation by 99% and eliminate the effect of object fading. They improve the aesthetics of the buildings. They are installed in places where the exposure to sunlight should be avoided: in offices, shop windows, summer cottages, historic buildings and museums.

Matt Films: similarly to mirror films, they produce a unique decorative effect and allow the inhabitants to completely block the building interior from the outside view. They create a new dimension in modern architecture.
